Rare Zenith tribute to Charles Vermot - This piece pays tribute to the man who saved Zenith's famous El Primero. In 1975, the market was flooded with cheap, quartz movements and mechanical watch sales were in decline, so Vermot had been ordered to destroy the tools and components used to make it.
